De Enterse Kloomp'n Daansers

About us

Enter is a village in the Twente region, in the east part of the Netherlands, with a long tradition of making wooden shoes by hand. In 1992 a group called the "Kloomp'n Daansers" (Clog Dancers) decided to put new life into an old tradition. We like to show the folklore of our region, esspecially the dances, songs, and music from the early 19th Century.

We are wearing the traditional farmers costume from our region of course including the world-famous wooden shoes. We perform at various events and festivals in the Netherlands and in several European countries, even in Canada and the USA.

Thirteen dance couples and 4 musicians can show you their folklore program. Please contact us for further information.
